An excellent book. "Peter and the Star Catchers," despite its somewhat cheesy title, far exceeded my expectations. Not quite a prequel to either the classic novel or the Disney cartoon, this story takes the best from both incarnations and spins its own continuity. It's a wonderful book, with a heartbreaking ending, and I enjoyed it far more than I anticipated. I can't wait to read the sequel.
I've always been a Peter Pan fan in general. This book strikes all the right chords. Dave Barry gets it.
